Delhi’s Social Welfare Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh on Thursday said that Lord Hanuman’s life inspires and gives a message of selfless service, unwavering dedication and a firm commitment towards national interest.
Indraj, on the occasion of Lord Hanuman Janmotsav on Thursday attended various religious and cultural programs organized in Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana, Auchandi, Qutubgarh, Jat Khor and Krishna Vihar of the Bawana Assembly constituency, and interacted with the locals.
During a program held in Shahbad Daulatpur, Indraj offered prayers and sought blessings, paying obeisance to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Hanuman, while participating in the rituals with devotees, he extended his greetings to the residents on the appearance day of Kesari Nandan Lord Hanuman.

In the areas of Bawana, Auchandi and Qutubgarh, devotees presented a beautiful picture and idol of Lord Hanuman to the Minister. He expressed his gratitude to all and said such affection and blessings strengthen his resolve towards public service.
In his address to the people on the occasion, he said that Lord Hanuman symbolizes immense strength, firm faith and selfless service, whose life not only inspires everyone to continuously move forward on the path of courage, restraint, public welfare, and also to live with discipline, while upholding values and righteousness.
In the Jat Khor area, the Minister participated in the Havan and also distributed prasad among the devotees.
He stated that such sacred events inspire to imbibe the values of service, duty and social responsibility and strengthen positive energy and unity in society.
Indraj also remarked that the religious and cultural programs play an important role in strengthening unity, and helps keep people, especially the young generation connected with the culture.
